Installation and Maintenance of The DuraNetTM Basketball Net

 "THE" American made Net!SM

The DuraNetTM net is secured to your basketball rim by six of the S-hooks that were supplied when you purchased your net from us.  For single rims, the S-hook will be the same size at both ends.  For double rims, the S-hook will have a small and a large end.

ATTACHMENT OF S-HOOKS TO THE NET

To install your net, you must first put the S-hooks on the DuranetTM net.  This is done by placing the S-hook (the small end for double rims) through the loop at the top of the net.  You then must FULLY CLOSE THAT END OF THE S-HOOK (no gap greater than .04").  Do this for all six attachment points.  This can be done with an "S" hook tool or Vise GripsTM .

ATTACHMENT OF S-HOOKS TO THE RIM

You can start anywhere on the rim.  Make sure that the label is facing the outside of the net.  On single rims the S-hooks are placed on the "no-ties".  There are 12 "no-ties" and 6 attachment points, so you will have an open space between each S-hook.  On double rims the attachment points are on the bottom rim.  You will leave one attachment point open between each S-hook.  After all of the 6 S-hooks are in place, YOU MUST FULLY CLOSE ALL OF THE S-HOOKS.  To fully close the S-hooks use an S-hook tool.

IF ANY S-HOOK IS NOT FULLY CLOSED THE NET MAY BECOME DISCONNECTED FROM THE RIM RESULTING IN POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE NET AND INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY.

SAFETY WARNING Remove any damaged net IMMEDIATELY!

The DuraNetTM basketball net must be removed immediately if any part of the net, basketball backboard, rim, or supporting pole or structure becomes damaged due to any cause, whether through use, wear or vandalism.  Failure to remove the net after such damage may increase the risk of injury and further damage to the product.
